We believe that all students can learn and contribute positively to the community. Our vision is to create a learning environment that allows our students to become productive, successful members of society. We must stress everyday the values of responsibility, hard work, respect and cooperation and instill in students the motivation to learn.
We believe that all students learn best when they are ENGAGED. To this end, the instructional focus for our school is:
a) student to student interaction
b) ongoing checking for understanding
c) using textual evidence to support ideas
d) rigor as aligned to Webb's DOK
e) multiple entry points.
Our school embraces a full inclusionary program with a small nurturing environment.
